Ebay advertising wrong delivery estimates!!! no assistance either

Hi All,

For a few weeks now we have an issue with the estimated delivery dates eBay is showing to customers.

We have a processing time of 3 working days and use 2nd class so a 2-3 working day delivery window.

So if somone was to order on Sunday there item will be dispatched on Wednesday and should have a delivery estimate of Saturday. However eBay is showing that the item will arrive on Thursday, this is giving it 1 working day for delivery. Which with 2nd class in the current climate is impossible. On some occassions it is showingf as Friday which is on 2 working days and we haven't found one that is stating the correct estimated delivery window. It is leading us to give refund after refund and complaint after complaint with bad feedback. 

We have raised this with eBay on 3 occassions who keep saying we are aware of the issue, but they are clearly not doing anything about it. It is costing us our business and they are not interested in the slightest in helping out as long as they get their fees then they are happy.

Is anyone else having these issues?

Have you looked back to seeestimated delivery dates AFTER you have marked as Posted.

I noticed this some weeks ago, that delivery date, in some cases was showing as before I even needed to post. However when I marked as posted the estimated delivery date then became much more reasonable. In fact in my opinion too far into the future.

Hi, no the date has never changed once the item was dispatched. It shouldn't be that hard to write to correct script to work out 3 days for postage.
