Ebay Managed Payments

Hi All, first time posting on forum so please be gentle with me but having massive mis givings with the new Ebay Payments Management system and was just wondering if anybody else is finding it hard going. Just been charged an International selling tax for an item bought by somebody registered with Ebay in Thialand, listing stated postage only to UK and buyer gave a UK address to send item to. Can't get an answer from Ebay and they are saying you can't sell with Ebay if you don't have Managed Payments, seems like a monopoly to me. Thanks for your replies Nigelj64

You would still more fees on paypal if buyer is non UK. It is an international transaction fee.

Post tracked to buyers UK address supplied by ebay & you should be fine.

Post is to uk address and tracked through Hermes but I’m still charged 2% international sellers fee.

Yes. because buyer is registered in Thailand so you pay international fee.
