EBay is too expensive now - I’m going elsewhere

Sellers are getting charged for EBay to quote postage and 10% final valuation fee is far too high.
There are other selling sites I.e Facebook, Gumtree etc etc do I recommend sellers start looking. Also place “wanted” for your purchases on other sites elsewhere.

You need to work out best selling platform for your items, if those other sites work well for you that's great.

Stats do show that sellers get more when they list on eBay rather than FaceBook Marketplace (they've not got that quite right yet), but it's a case of whatever works for you.

Ebay is still cheaper than most Auction Houses plus far more exposure than most other sites.

I guess one needs to do whatever works for them.

Personally Ebay works for us......Facebook and Gumtree would not work for us as we do not want people calling all the time to collect items
