All sellers this year are moving over to eBay's Managed Payments, whereby payouts will go straight into your nominated bank account, after eBay first take their fees, no more invoices.
So bank details need to be provided to eBay, and one of the verifiction processes is to receive two micro payments from eBay.
You then enter those amounts into the message and boxes received, and this verifies to eBay that they have the correct bank account for sending payouts.
They will take back those little payments, very quickly! It's just given to you to check your bank account.
