Fellow e.bayers after the classic e.bay site was changed they are now going to stop using PayPal. Which means that e.bay are going to collect money from buyers and pay the seller through the sellers bank account minus 12.8% and 30d fee.Over the many years that I have been with e.bay and pay pal I have not found a problem, security wise or any other wise. I am now asked to supply e.bay with my bank details etc. This I am not happy with. What I am going to do is supply them with a different bank account details which is clear of my day to day banking i.e. current account etc. The new account will have a minimal amount of money to pay for postage via Hermes through PayPal and my broadband provider. These will also receive the new bank details. I cannot strees strongly enough that this is a sad day for us all. But hope by doing the changes that I will make will enable me to continue selling on e.bay.
