E BAY -ABSOLUTELY AWFUL AT COMMUNICATING WITH CUSTOMERS

E BAY keep sending me emails about my account but do not allow any option to reply to them .Spent over 2 hours trying to talk to someone . Phone line is totally automated and tells you to use their web site. Website does not give the option to resolve the issue. WHY DO EBAY TREAT UK CUSTOMERS SO BADLY. e.g. they give United States and Canadian customers the option to get a call back but not UK customers. I feel  it will be a lot easier and cheaper to use FREE LOCAL SELLING WEB SITES.

If you go to help and contact at top of pages you can select a topic and should get "live chat" or "have us call you".  If you use it at about 0800 BST it is said you will get Ireland rather than Philippines.  There's no way that you can call them.

 

The reason that they do not encourage calls is that there "usually" is a way to deal with it yourself even though the answer may be "no" or "too late"

 

If you give us a clue we [experienced members who like and - to a degree - understand the ways of eBay] may be able to help
