How much Does it cost to post an average sized dvd.

I posted two DVDs large letter £1.29. post office then told buyer's they had to pay £1.50 under charge.

Post office won't answer simple question.

How much to post a dvd?

As arkwebus says  there is no simple answer as it depends on the weight when packed.

up to 100g =£1.29

up to 250g=£1.83

Now you charged £1.83 so why did you then use insufficient postage?

Thanks for reply. I charged £1.83 because ebay recommended that, i thought
it covers packaging, driving to post office etc.
The dvds were under 100g so £1.29 should have been enough.
