How much Does it cost to post an average sized dvd.

I posted two DVDs large letter £1.29. post office then told buyer's they had to pay £1.50 under charge.

Post office won't answer simple question.

There is no simple answer; that is why!  It is the seller's responsibility to get it right in the post.

Two DVDs will no doubt fit in an envelope and go as a large letter but if the weight is more than 100gm a higher charge applies.  There is no way - however - that the buyer can force you to give hime the £1.50 though he might leave negative feedback and you could simply send him £1.50 through Paypal.

There are two ways to deal with postage.  The simple way is to go to the Post Office.  If they get it wrong nobody has to pay extra [in theory at least] or you can use the Royal Mail website where you weigh the item on the digital kitchen scales and input the weight which will give the correct postage which you can pay simply by Card or Paypal.  EBay has a postage scheme too [I believe] but in all my years I have never used it as it seems to add another firm between the seller and RM
