Duplicate eBay account

An account has been opened in my name and using my gmail email. I didn't open this. I have an account, which I've had for many years, and I don't want a second one. My existing account is on an entirely different email address.

How do I close this surplus address which has been opened for me it would appear by Google.

Are you sure that you haven't opened a new account or duplicated the account by accident ?... check here >

Using a PC/Laptop > Log out, restart and login through the eBay Home Page using your usual Username or email address and password to see if you can manage to retrieve and restore your original account ? ...

Do Not use Apple, Google or Facebook login options which are reported as opening new 'cloned' accounts with corrupted, missing and inaccurate details.

Thank you for your quick reply. I obviously haven’t explained myself very
well. I have had an eBay account for years and years and use it regularly.
What has happened is than another completely different account has been
opened with my gmail account and my original account is with my btinternet
account. I didn’t open it but I am constantly getting their emails on it
and for a start I don’t want those and secondly I have no need of two
accounts. Finding out how to lose this “extra” account is beyond me. I
assume Google have done this.
