Dissolved UK company trading on EBay

 I have had numerous problems with my ex using my address as his business details. In March 2017 I had enforcement officers to my house and 3 occasions ,once at 6am in the morning as a client had taken my ex to court fora sub standard building he had sold and the client won and was awarded £12000 plus costs , the enforcement officers came to my houseas that was the addressused on Ebay , I reported this to ebay after getting an Action Fraud number and after a week and numerous phone calls the listings were taken down ,. However the next month they were back up still with my address details , repeated process Action Fraud who also advised I report to Trading Standards , rang Ebay who said that was a serious violation and as he had now reoffended they would take action .......2 weeks later and 15 plus phone calls to Ebay all of them telling me how serious this was and would be dealt with and action taken he changed his address in his profile , he is a registered business seller, however he left mmy old phone number as the contact number , this number is disconnected , still showing the item location as my county even though item is located abroad , still showing my address at the bottom of all the listings 8 in total and also with 2 links to his website in the description , rang Ebay again  who said this was very serious breach of policy and also trying to circumvent Ebay , all deals are done off Ebay anyway !! 

So they took the listings down for a while but now all back up , still showing disconnected phone number , still showing false item location , address has now changed to his at the bottom of all the listings but when checked on Companies House the company at the address shown was dissolved in April 2017 , still says UK based company of ten years on website , the company is registered abroad , in 2015  , registered address is a derelict and abandoned building , when company checked out in foreign country it is now registered too the company has received a warning and is a debtor owing nearly 5000 EUR in unpaid taxes ?? There is a warning also saying that the company has experienced serious financial disruption in the last 24 months and anyone thinking of using this company is advised to perform an extensive credit check and report . I have reported all this information to Ebay yet they are still allowing him to use Ebay as a cheap advertising platform ????

It's hard to help when the problem is the failure of eBay's customer support, because the only remedy is to contact customer support again!

You could try putting your concerns in writing to eBay's new HQ in London, the address is in the user agreement. Perhaps it might carry more weight if you asked your solicitor to write on your behalf.

Try to simplify it as far as possible. As regards eBay, the main point is that your ex is using your address for his business details.

There may be issues which you obviously cant discuss here. For example, whether your ex still has any interest in your premises, owns or is the joint owner of any part of it or is still named in any lease. In other words, whether or not he has any continuing right to this address. This is another reason it may be wise to get a solicitor's opinion.

It's important to get this resolved. The danger is that if he is eventually banned from selling on eBay, it's likely that you would be too. EBay automatically apply the same restriction to any other user at the same address.

Thank you red_magpie , he has no interest in my property as left in 2016 but still using my address 2 years later despite being reported several times , he was a joint tenant with me and has not honoured his part of the responsibility that comes with signing such an agreement , Ive already had enforcement officers to my address to claim recompense fro a court case he lost and did not respond to or make offers to pay , my concern is the general public who may be sucked in not knowing the full facts , we are not talking little items here , we are talking a lot of money , peoples homes and dreams . I will write to ebay , thank you and provide print outs of all relevant information I have thank you for taking the time to respond .
