Digital camera warranty returns

Hi all,

Thanks for reading this question. I bought a sports camera in October from a UK seller but ebay policies say this isn't covered for returns. Please see the item below. I'm slightly confused by this because the item is less the six months old and the law in the UK states the seller must offer a refund or replacement if the item is faulty.

So is eBay breaking UK law or the seller? Or am I on the completely wrong train of thought?
