Over the last couple of weeks when dispatching items I've noticed odd discrepancies in the delivery estimates. Our listings have always been set with 1-day dispatch and free Royal Mail 48 (2nd class delivery), I've just checked a few listings and they still say "usually dispatches within 1 working day". Today I noticed two items bought yesterday, both with the standard RM48 delivery, and the one bought earlier has a delivery estimate of by 14th Sept which is correct (dispatch on Thurs to arrive Sat or Mon as it's a 2-3 day service) but the other has a delivery estimate of 13th Sept... that's a Sunday and it won't be delivered tomorrow so only gives Saturday for delivery which isn't exactly a sure thing for Royal Mail 2nd class deliveries, as far as I'm aware not all areas even have a saturday post delivery.
That wouldn't be too much of a problem on it's own but last week I had an item purchased on Thursday 3rd with a delivery estimate of Sunday 6th... which means it would have to be dispatched on Friday and delivered on Saturday, which will never happen with RM48. But another item bought on the same day had a delivery estimate of Tuesday 8th, which would be correct. Is anyone else having the same thing? I don't want to start getting defects for open INR cases because eBay is providing unrealistic delivery estimates, up until a few weeks ago it all seemed to be working fine.
* Update 14/09/15 * I can't seem to reply to the topic so editing the question instead. Had another today with an item bought 7.15pm on Saturday 12th and expected delivery on Tuesday 15th when it should be 16th-17th. Just spoken to eBay support and they have forwarded all the examples I gave them of the transactions affected on to the Technical Team dealing with it, it seems they are aware of it and looking into it but no answers yet.
