Hello I have a slightly annoying problem with a missing buyer.
So background first: the Buyer bought my item 9 calendar days ago, the same day I messaged him/her with shipping details and expected delivery date. No response from buyer.
Delivery was attempted by courier to buyers address 6 calendar days ago, but tracking indicated no one answered and delivery failed. Tracking info advised buyer about rearranging delivery. I messaged the buyer next day with info on how to arrange redelivery or alternatively collect from local depot. Again no response from buyer.
A couple more days pass and I message buyer again, asking if I could assist with anything. Yet again, no response from buyer.
Now it is 9 calender days from when my item was purchased and my first of three attempts to establish comms with the buyer and still no response. My(?) item is now, hopefully, sitting in the buyers local courier depot. Any advice on what I do next? I am a relative novice as a seller, eBay are doing their Managed Payments thing & I am unsure about the next step.
I do see from the buyer profile that he/she is an active buyer with a few tens of buys in the last 30 days. No negatives, all positive FB. So the lack of comms is a bit surprising,
Any advice or information will be gratefully received.
Never chase buyers, if there is an issue they will soon contact you.
If buyer opens item not received case, unless you can prove actual delivery (not attempted) you have to refund them in full.
Hopefully you put return address on so item can come back to you.
