Dangerous seller

Hi I bought some car parts for my vehicle after fitting one of the ball joints were slightly smaller and pulled out of the hub and caused it to snap the abs sensor which is only a sensor but if this had made it to a road the effects could have been fatal after making the seller aware of this and that I had to get a replacement part for their error and a sensor because of what had happened all I got was sorry about this🤬.
how do I get in touch with eBay themselves about this I cannot return the item as I fitted them I only have the wrong one they sent me that I had to replace the car was booked for an inspection the next day🤦‍♂️

The seller is a business in the Uk so contact Citizens advice and they will probably pass the problem on to Trading Standards.

If the item is so dangerous to risk an accident then they will take action.

If you have the broken item then you should open a not as described in the resolution centre and return whatever you have.

I presume this was a steering track rod end ball joint - possibly the most safety critical component in the car. It's a pity that you didn't buy a genuine manufacturer's replacement part from a main dealer.

If you buy aftermarket products "at competitive prices" on eBay you never know what you're getting or where it came from. There has been a lot of concern over cheap, cast iron ball joints imported from the Far East. (Authentic ones are made from drop forged steel.)

You can use eBay's money back guarantee to get a refund, but please don't return the faulty item - this was a UK registered business seller and it's essential to take the ball joint to tradng standards for inspection. You may need to consult eBay, but I think they will probably waive the requirement to return it in these circumastances.

follow  advice but be very careful as from your eBay ID here you are a business and the fact that said ID clearly has your mobile number displayed is a serious eBay policy violation.
