Daily Mail eBay coupon codes not working.

In MS Edge, at the right hand side of the eBay web address bar, I see a blue price tag.  When I click on it, a drop-down box says "Shopping in MS Edge,  Coupons found! 5 Coupons,

(1) PICK10OFF, dailymail.co.uk, Save 10% when you spend £15 or more using this eBay voucher code.

(2) BAG15OFF, dailymail.co.uk, eBay discount code for an EXTRA 15% off selected best sellers when you spend £20 or more",  and three more.   I realize that no. 2 is for specific sellers, but no. 1 should work.

None of the five coupons worked yesterday, so I backed out of the purchase.  Is that allowed?

I cannot tell if these will work until after I buy something, which is too late, as I only want to buy it at the discounted price. 

Ebay CS referred me to my ISP.  MS Edge are not going to help.

How do I make these work, and who do I complain to that these don't work.  There are no additional conditions shown, or that can be accessed by clicking on the code, and no deadline date, but they are still on my screen today. I believe they expire tomorrow, 15 July.
