Dafi 7.3kW in-line water heater

Hi Folks

I purchased one of these heaters on 29th November 2014 from seller.  The eBay listing and documents in the box said 3year warranty. 

It was wonderful having hot water in the bathroom, instantly, without running a sink full of cold first. Should have got one sooner (although they may not have been available much before I saw this one).

Anyway, great as it's been, I find the heater unit has sprung a leak after about a year being ok and water now drips slowly from the white plastic case.  I'm catching the escape in an ice-cream box and empying it every few days.

I've tried to contact seller by phone and email but no answer. The email appears to have been delivered as mail system did not report non-delivery.  Are they avoiding me?

What can I/we/you do? Has anyone else had similar experience with either the item or seller?

Obviously the plumbing is there for the Dafi item, so really I need a replacement heater. Under the terms of the 3 year warranty if possibe?  Does this seller still exist? What are they selling now? How can I find any current items from this seller?  I see the same heater on eBay offered by others so the unit is still available.

I am very sorry to hear of the problem.  As you may be aware, there is no eBay or Paypal support for warranty issues and although you may be able to identify the seller by 'unhiding' your purchase history for that time period, there would be very little information about the original purchase.  Alternatively you would be able to find the seller's email payment address from your Paypal transaction history and could contact them that way.
