what would ebay take an amount from my account for?

I use the new way of payments with ebay but have had an amount taken from my bank account sayind 'direct debit' taken? 

Any ideas anyone?

It took the 'helpline' some time to understand what I was asking and then quite a while to provide me with a response.

The money had been taken for a refund requested by a customer. I thought that I had not been paid for the puchase and therefore didn't understand why they had taken it.

To be honest can't say I'm too pleased with the 'new' way of working with ebay. 😞

it's no different to how paypal would have handled it, if you didn't have enough money in paypal to fund a refund they took it from your bank as well

Only eBay can tell you what this applies to as they have direct access to your account.
