Contact with Ebay

How can I get hold of Ebay directly? I'm getting conflicting emails about trying to get a refund for an item that is faulty. All the help seems to go back to the supplier & I need to get hold of Ebay directly.

you don't contact ebay directly,

you deal with the seller,

if it is within 30 days of purchase you can use the Resolution Centre  and open a not as described case,

outside of 30 days you have to deal with the seller directly

If it's still within 30 days of delivery you can open a "not as described" return via More Actions on the far right of your order in Purchase History.  Then escalate it after 3 business days.

If it's more than 30 days but less that 180 days since payment you can try Paypal, if you used them.

First sign up to get the return postage paid:

https://www.paypal.com/gb/webapps/mpp/refunded-returns

Then open a "not as described" case here:

https://www.paypal.com/uk/disputes/

And escalate it after 2 days and before 20 days.

If you used a different payment service, or your credit card or Visa debit card ring them and see if they can help.

If you still want to contact ebay go to My eBay and click on "Help & Contact", top left. Scroll down to "Contact Us" and click on that. Select a topic, the nearest or any topic. On the next page, on the lefthand side you should get a link for "Chat with us".
