Combined Postage

Can anyone please explain why the Ebay request total from seller no longer works? I have tried 12 times to use it on various sellers both in UK and EU and every time I get an error saying 'The seller doesn't offer combined postage discounts - error 80016'. Yet on the item page the seller states happy to combine postage and often gives an amount for each additional item.

I have noticed this problem for a while.

If you send seller a message, not the request total link, asking for combined invoice, most will do so.

I know this seller says they combine P&P, but if not shown on listing, you should ask before bidding,

most will do it, but not all..
