I advertised a sofa bed for sale and collection only was stipulated. The auction ended on 18 March. The high bidder lives 150 miles away, is currently abroad and plans to use a courier. The buyer has paid by Paypal. The courier wants to collect over a 48 hour window 29/30 March that includes Good Friday. Our deadline is 3 pm Thursday 29 March. After Easter we are leaving UK and not returning until early May. The buyer is happy to wait until then! Btw the buyer has over 2500 tx on ebay so not inexperienced!
We had wanted the item gone before our absence. Can I cancel the transaction and offer it on a 2nd chance basis to a local bidder?
