Collection Delays request by Buyer

My Buyer is saying they will pay but will not collect for a few weeks.  Should I allow this? I am imagining that eBay will flag up that collection has not taken place.   I am also a little dubious about the buyer looking at feedback.   Any help would be appreciated.

It's quite straightforward if they don't pay: you can use eBay's new procedure to cancel unpaid items: https://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Announcements/New-cancel-function-for-unpaid-items/ba-p/6939127

The problem for sellers is when a buyer pays, but then leaves items, sometimes for weeks or months, before collecting them. There's no easy answer when this happens. If you make a seller-initiated cancelaltion without the buyer's agreement you're liable to be penalised by eBay.

There is no support for sellers in this situation. If you can't agree a cancellation with the buyer you may have to wait at least 60 days before eBay's procedures time out, and the buyer can't leave feedback. Then you can refund the buyer through PayPal - possibly deducting your eBay fees for the sale, which it will be too late to get back.
