Click & Collect - on listing previews

Should the Click & Collect posting option show up on your listing previews before you submit them LIVE? I have done 5 draft listings today and non of them show Click & Collect as a posting option (Yes, I am enrolled).

It would be handy because some of my listings I state (or want to): "Please choose click & collect if you will not be available to receive at home". If it's not shown in the preview, seems a little backwards to send it LIVE then check if that option is available to buyers.

your items have to be over £5 to be eligible for click & collect

Question still not answered. If listings qualify for click & collect WILL THEY SHOW ON THE PREVIEW LISTING before you send it LIVE. I've looked at the list that don't qualify. Not short is it...

it's an option for the buyer, the seller doesn't need to see it,


buyers know about click & collect, you don't need to mention it on your listings

Well I'm arguing we do need to see it... I want to state on some listings " "Please choose click & collect if you will not be available to receive at home" for various reasons but if eBay don't indicate to the buyer at the time its listed you have no idea until its sold and up pops a "click & collect" address. It needs improving.

There is no argument.

You don't need to do that as Click and collect will show on your postage options when you list the item

It is up to the buyer to decide if they want to use it or not they dont need to be pushed to use it

Then list an item and go to the item page once listed and you will see it there and then you can be sure it is on the listng

You may then be convince that you have Click and collect on your items
You have enllsted on it so it will be there
I can see it on mine.

the one item you have listed shows click & collect, so as long as your other items meet the criteria, they will also show the click & collect option,

it doesn't show on the preview

If you are enlisted on Click and collect then ti should show when you list

Why not just list one of your items and see what happens as you can then check and see if it is there

It should be.

You dont need to state Please choose click and collect that is up to the buyer to decide not for you to direct them to it

They may not live or work anywhere near a collection point

I do use Click and collect as a seller and although we see a lot of problems here it is usually with the buyer not collecting within the 7 days

Touch wood up to now I have not had that problem and have sent many items to Click and collect

It does not need addressing.as it works well enough now and I have never had any problem with it showing on my account

If you have enlisted on Click and collect then it will show on your account unless your items are not ones that are included

Why is it a bit dumb to try a trial listing.You can then check it is there and you will know for sure

You have 1000 free and as long as you do not add any upgrades then it will cost you nothing

... unless its sold quickly before you have time to remove it and fees cost you more than the £1 max selling fee offers I often get and wait for 🙂

All you are talking about is a postage method Click and collect
It the item sells quickly I am sure you would be very happy to post to the sellers address and they may not want click and collect anyway. Many wont use it at all

Actually if you go to the one item you have listed it says Click and Collect
Twice. Once in red under the buy it now box and again under where is says Collection
Will that convince you?

it isn't an option available to sellers, it's an option for buyers to use,

sellers either opt in to the scheme or opt out of it


if the seller is opted in and the item is eligible the buyer will see the click & collect option

Buyers can arrange delivery to any address they wish if unable to be at home for a delivery. All they need to do is change the address on Paypal before paying.

If you read on here the  constant problems that buyers have with this "convenient" collection system you would not want to put any buyer through the aggravation caused.

Click and collect isn't available on all items.
