China sellers

Why are we getting so many Chinese sellers when it's eBay UK Items taking 3 months to arrive  When purchasing it says UK seller  then you find out it's from China Items that finally arrive of poor quality anyway Thinking of avoiding ebay  altogether

Got all that thanks but 3 months  what they using a sandpan  So annoying  when your waiting  Yes I know about problems with customs and Covid restrictions etc but don't help much thanks for your reply

If it said 3 months on the listing then you don't buy. Buy from someone else. Who said anything about covid restrictions or Customs? The important question it "What does it say on the listing for delivery?

It's telling me August on one other should have arrived days ago  when I contacted seller the Covid and customs an excuse

It is the date on the listing in your Purchase History that is the one you go by. If you are looking at the sellers site then it will be saying the date as if you bought today. If it should have arrived recently and is overdue then open a not recieved disputeIf you have not recieved your item and it is past the latest estimated day of delivery on the item description then you can open a not recieved dispute one day after the latest estimated day of delivery on the listing. You can do that at the bottom of the page under Resolution Centre Escalate it too ebay after 3 full days https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy/ebay-money-back-guarantee-poli... You have 30 days from the latest estimated day of delivery on the item description to open a dispute.

They are excuses and can run you out of time for a dispute

If you are out of time on ebay and paid by paypal then open the not received there and escalate as soon as paypal allowed but within 20 days

Oh I do then they message asking for me to retract

I presume you mean you do leave feedback

If you did not have a good experience or the seller did not sort out your problem

then you dont retract

If you retract on a promise then most promises are not kept

Seems you seller is really stringing you along

You should not let them do that

Why not leave feedback to reflect your experiences?

You go by the latest esimate on the listings

If it is from Uk then it should be quick

If it does not arrive in that time then you open a not received and escalate 

after 3 full days and get your money back

If it then arrives you can repay or ask them for a pre paid label to return it

to the UK address

Ebay have a policy on mis representation of address
