Checkout limbo

Hi. I had an offer accepted by a seller and now the item is stuck in checkout. I've tried multiple times to complete checkout using various payment methods but no use. I understand that the offers policy has recently changed and that my problem may now be due to the fack that I didn't have funds when I accepted the seller's counter offer. I'm now concerned that my account is frozen.. Help!! (eBayer with 20 years experience first time using offer function).
