Changing DON

I've been suspended for some reason and have been asked to reregister. When I get to date of birth there is an incorrect date already entered. When I try to change it using the date wheel it just keeps spinning back to the incorrect date. 
given up on the eBay help so I'm hoping one of you guys might be able to advise.
