Change Paypal Account

Hi, 

How do I change the paypal account on eBay? I have clicked to update but nothing happens. When I click to unlink the old email address it justy takes me to my purchases page.

Ive tried to call eBay but like most other companies they cant be bothered to take calkls they just have an automated message saying to use the help pages.

Im trying to list things to sell but cant until I get this sorted, so any help is appreciated 😄

YOu cant change the paypal account on ebay

All members are being move onto ebay managed payments and you have to update bank details

Paypal is no  longer the payment method for sellers

Ebay take payment and take off their fees and then pay the remainder into the sellers bank account

If you have been asked to update details then it is your bank account you have to add

Buyers can still pay by paypal but the money goes to ebay

You may change your mind when you start on the managed payments. It is not instant like paypal but it does seem to work but many dont like the new system. You need also to use the seller hub

Oh youre kidding! Not instant? Whats the point then? You sell stuff to get the money there and then! Think Ill remove my listing then and go elsewhere! Thanks for that info

Read the policy link carefully so you understand how it works. Many are saying they will leave but give it a chance and see what you think yourself. All changes are a challenge

Ebay takes the payment and once they have taken off the fees they pay the remainder into your bank account. It depends on which option you choose either one day or one week but it may take a little longer as it is business days and it could get held up at the bank.
