Cannot stay signed in.

Right, yet again Ebay have been fooling around with the way the site works. This time no matter what the site fails to keep me signed in. I have seen the idiotic checkbox in preferences but this DOESN'T WORK. In order to stay signed in you have to enable this each day WHEN IT SHOULD STAY SET.

It worked perfectly before someone "thought" they had a better idea when in fact IT WAS A STUPID ONE.

Put it back how it was and stop messing around with a system THAT WORKED. Having to keep signing back in IS EXTREMELY INSECURE. This is how accounts get hacked!

You are not talking to ebay here so they will not see your post

If yuo see the top of the page it says Member to Member Support

Go to the account tab on your My ebay page then Site preferences then General preferences at the bottom of that page

Keep me signed into this computer

Try clearing cookies and cache by clicking on the Ctrl Shift and Delete keys on your computer

Restart your computer 

If that does not help then try another browser like Firefox or Chrome

Redwick, your "solution" is the exact problem I posted about which DOESN'T WORK AT ALL!!!!!!!

It isn't a browser issue either, it's 100% dud programming on eBay's side.


There is no option when posting to ask for eBay's help, not there at all.

Well I am sorry about that I can only point you to the posts where this has been successful
It has been the problem where ebay updated and the box for some reason was unticked.

Did you try clearing the cookies and cache.

Did you try another browser.

Are you using the app as they have lots of problems and not all options work
If you are then try going to ebay without the app and ticking the
