Cannot purchase postage within ebay.

Hi,

Does anyone else have a problem purchasing postage after selling an item within ebay?

I’ve been back and forth several times over a good two months (if not longer) between ebay and PayPal trying to resolve the issue I’m having of purchasing postage on ebay after selling an item.

Yesterday I received a phone call from ebay telling me the issue had been resolved and the next time I tried to purchase the postage within ebay for a sold item there’d be no issue.

Last night I sold some items and this morning when I went to purchase the postage it did not work. Again.  

I don’t understand how difficult it can be to fix this problem. And it is a problem; especially now I’ve opened an ebay shop and am expecting to sell more items. Being able to calculate, purchase and print postage labels within ebay is a lot faster than hand writing each envelope and then going to the post office to re-weigh each item and purchase the appropriate stamps. Not to mention within the ebay postage option the item is instantly marked as dispatched whilst I then have a record of postage.

But how can I be sure of that if my ebay ‘purchase postage on-line’ option does not work? Because my wife also has an ebay account of her own and sometimes sells items and when she purchases the postage within ebay there is no issue whatsoever. It just works. Yet she uses the exact same computer as I do with the same browser, only difference being is she has her own ebay and PayPal accounts.

PayPal are adamant that everything is set up fine on my account at their end and the issue has nothing to do with them. ebay seem to believe the issue is with PayPal. And so it goes on, around and around without resolve.

The attached screen shot is one of the messages I'm receiving. This would indicate my PayPal is not set up for UK£'s, but it is set up for that...

Any advice will beappreciated, because ebay themselves seem stumped.
