Bid for and won a television in a low starting price auction and got it a a very low price although shipping cost was way higher than the price for the tv. I'd been careful to message the seller with my postcode to check if delivery was ok and was told it was fine.
(The same tv had come up a second time after I'd been outbid by someone else on previous auction). After about 10 days out of the blue the transaction has been cancelled and my money returned with a vague excuse of problems with delivery and without any prior contact from the owner. It doesn't seem that I can do anything about this, is that right? I thought there would be some way to dispute this or is my only choice to let this go. Hoping for some advice on this. Cheers
It is very bad ebaying but you can not force the seller to sell and ebay can not force them
If you have received your refund then you have feedback to leave
Just keep it simple and dont mention ebay or dispute
If they cancelled for the wrong reasons then they will be paying the fees and a defect
If they used buyer requested to cancel( which does not seem the case here) then you report to ebay
