Cancellation of auction

I recently cancelled an auction with no bids because an interested party wanted to buy it now.

I expected to pay ebay the normal bin fees but I seem to have been charged an auction cancellation fee too. 

Is that normal?

Exactly what fees and what for?

you could simply have edited the auction start price to what was agreed and they bid and you end as sell to the highest bidder.
