A customer has asked for a refund due to an item being faulty, which I have agreed to. He has subsequently asked for a replacement which I have sent so buyer and seller both happy. How do I cancel the refund request? It still appears as outstanding on my overview and account. Thanks for any advice you can give.
There is a good reason why buyer should not close the case.
Buyer only gets one case per purchase, if the replacement also proved to be faulty or was lost in the post, the buyer cannot open another claim.
You say sent to buyer! Only after he has received it would it be wise to close the case.
It would have been better not to send the replacement
You should have accepted the item back or told the buyer to keep it and refunded and then list another for your buyer to buy
If they dont do anything the case will close automatically and they should not close it until they get their item
It is up to the buyer to close it choosing I have my item
