Hi,
My buyer didn't receive their item, so I would like to give them a full refund.
When I try to refund, either on the app or desktop site, it throws an error. I think this was error 40003 on the app.
I suspect this may be because the purchase was 4 weeks ago and I don't have any funds in eBay Payment to take the refund out of.
I do have a bank account and a credit card registered on my account so it should take the funds for the refund from there, but it just says there's an error and the refund couldn't go through.
Any ideas?
Incidentally the eBay support chat system is useless. I started 3 chats, and each time was logged out after a few minutes. Twice someone sent me a link to try to do the refund, and by the time I had tried the link and found that didn't work I had been kicked off the chat and couldn't tell them and had to start over with another chat...
