No,  as a seller,   you cannot leave bad feedback for a buyer.

Think about this,  if it was possible,  it's not , I stress again it's a policy violation,  then sellers who sell Buy it Now / Good Tioll Cancelled items,  would have no chance to read that feedback,  and see  there is a possiblle serial non payer,  and that buyer is then free to go and wreck other people's sales.

Use the tools that eBay provide,  thatr is,  open and close an unpaid item case in the Resolution Centre,  your seller fee is refunded,  and the buyer gets that all important non payment strike.  two strikes,  and they will not be able to buy from the majority of sellers on eBay for 12 months.

Far more effective.

That's right.  Unless you want to leave feedback that says not being paid was a positive experience, there is no point in leaving it for non payers as feedback for buyers can only be positive.

Did you actually close the case youself before it timed out and closed automatically?  You need to close it to get your fees back and give the buyer a strike.

• If an item has not been paid for 48 hours after the listing ended then you can open an unpaid case here http://resolutioncentre.ebay.co.uk/ (you have up to 32 days to do this if you wish to allow the buyer longer to pay but 2 days is the earliest)

• After opening the case if payment has still not been received after 4 more full days then return to the case & close as unpaid to request a fee credit

• Once a case has been closed you can then relist or make a second chance offer to the underbidder

• Once an unpaid case has been opened the transaction cannot be cancelled, only closing the case after 4 days will do this

• You should not simply cancel a transaction as it may leave you with fees to pay & a selling defect

• When a case has been closed in your favour as the seller then the buyer receives a damaging unpaid strike against their account & NEITHER of you may leave feedback

• Details here

Simples!

1. You add them to your Blocked Bidders List.

2. You set your buyer preferences to block any member with 2 or more Unpaid Strikes.

Far more effective than feedback that nobody reads in any case.

If you see members with negative comments on positive feedback, just think about it. The seller has increased their POSITIVE SCORE and has still had to pay the selling fee. Doesn't seem very clever to me.

The "waiting for payment" is simply a sloppy piece of programming!

If everyone who was not paid used the system then the buyers would be blocked from buying on ebay after just two defects.  Sellers can set their preferences to block them
