Can I retract a bid with 7 hours left

The idea of eBay is that you bid on items in an amount that you wish.  There are reasons to retract but very few.  The main one is that if you bid £2999 rather than £29.99 you can "correct it" by retracting and reentering the correct amount.  Change of mind, buying somewhere else or remorse are not acceptable.  You can contact the seller to see if he will remove the bid.  @mullusk5

With less that 12 hrs left to run as a buyer,NO,as seller you cancel a bid right up until listing ends,but thats at seller discretion
