Can I hand write on the package I'm selling?

I would like to start selling unwanted items from my wardrobe, thing is I don't have anything to print labels with and I am curious if I can just hand write the buyers address on the package and send it that way? I've never sold anything on eBay before so I have no clue if that would be ok?

For sure it would be fine but you will need to take those parcels to the post office to send them.

You would also need to invest in a decent set of kitchen scales (if you don't already have some) so you can weigh items with their packaging and look up the price on the Royal Mail website so you can give an accurate postage price on your listings.

When you post items you need to get a proof of posting at least so you have proof you sent the items, a standard pop covers you for up to £20 in value should the item go missing but for items above that you would be safer to send them tracked.

Good luck with your selling and please do come to the boards if you need any more help smile_cat
