Hi
I recently sold my daughters laptop as she had replaced it with a macbook and it was in good working order (my son is a computer engineer and he tested it the day before listing).
The buyer received it and I left them positive feedback a few days later. However, the following day the buyer left me negative feedback saying
'the item was not as described, completely useless, SSD card is burnt out and the mouse sticks' I had received no messages from them saying it was faulty or asking for a refund- just bam- negative feedback!
I contacted ebay as up until this point I had 100% positive feedback. Ebay says they cannot remove the neg feedback just because I say he is lying. So, I replied to his feedback saying what he had said was untrue etc.
I now see the same buyer is selling this exactly laptop he purchased from me, using my photographs and in their description they say the ONLY issue is the ssd card may need replacing but theyre no expert! They also say they are selling as they have 3 other laptops.
Doesn't this warrent his negative feedback being removed because clearly what he wrote in that feedback was a lie if he is now selling it with no issues?
any advice appreciated.
Yes in those circumstances your Feedback should be Removed. BUT trying to convince EBay could prove very difficult.
