Buyer won’t pay

Hi - I have sold an item that attracted a lot of interest. Unfortunately the winning bidder says he can’t afford it. I was hoping to take advantage of the £1 fee offer on eBay. If I cancel the order and re-list I think I have to pay the 10%. What is my best course of action?

Whatever you do you will pay the full fee if you relist or use Second Chance Offer to offer to the underbidder.   The alternative would be to wait until there's another £1 fee offer.   They seem to be quite regular at the moment.

I would complete an Unpaid Item case unless you've already agreed to cancel.

Start 2 or more complete days after end of auction, via More Actions, far right of item on your My eBay sold page and close it after another 4 complete days.
