So he bought a hat off me for cheap (15) and unfortunately I lost it because I was having the house painted. I cancellled the sale and he wrote on my feedback before bothering to message me to ask why that I was totally unproffesional but I was busy labouring and so I mesaged him and **bleep**  What should I do it's not right!

did you bother to message him first before cancelling the sale?

buyers shouldn't swear at sellers, but on the same token sellers shouldn't lose the items they list and then cancel the sale without apologising to the buyers!

adding to pixiesen2012 advice -

even though you are a new seller you should have read up on all the rules/policies before selling [to protect yourself] as the false positive you left the buyer can damage your account much more than the neg they left as it's considered serious feedback abuse.
