Hi I've been buying from eBay since start of 2009 now due to financial issues thinking of selling. U sure how it all works. I've lots of various items sitting I my home which I don't need/use.
Should I just try selling on local sites (free) or do homework ask advice on becoming an eBay seller? Any advice would be appreciated. Bx

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/sell-getstarted.html First of all read here. Then on the My Ebay page go to the short cut on the left and read FEES. On top of Ebay fees, Paypal charge 3.4% +20p (3.9% on International) Ebay invoice monthly.
I suggest to do research on the items you wish to sell, bearing in mid that what you sell for on Ebay will have to cover fees of about 15% in total and that both Ebay and Paypal calculate fees INCLUDING postage.
