Buyer says doesn’t work

I sold an item and stated willing to post UK only but the buyer has purchased through global shipping. I don’t know if he’s used the wrong voltage but now says He wants full refund plus shipping. The item did work before it got sent halfway round the world. What can I do

You cant just put post to the UK in the description

You have GSP on your listing and the buyer was quite within their rights to buy

If it ws the nespresso and was going to another country then it is likely it would not work 

as different countries have different systems

If you only want to post to the Uk then that is what you choose when you list the item

They need to open a dispute and you deal with it

Thanks for the reply -I hadn’t realised that I couldn’t put UK only on until I shipped! Buyer is saying machine shows signs of neglect- which is totally untrue and is demanding full refund and to put the machine in the bin-But he’s managed to descale the machine Which requires the machine to be operational! Think I’m being scammed.

I makes no difference to ebay what the buyer may or may not have done to the item as if the buyer opens a dispute then you have to deal with it.

if they escalate a dispute then ebay will gowith the buyer and you will then be left with the fees and a defect on your account.
