Buyer's messages going to old email address

I've just loged into an old email account that I have not used for a couple of years and find that messages from buyers are being sent there. I have checked my ebay account info and they  definatly have my new address, and it has been verified, so I cannot find any way to stop messages being sent to the old address. I wonder if this has happed to anyone else and what the solution is ? Thanks
