Buyer requests alternative payment Method

A buyer has requested to pay a different method to what is listed. Not to go into too much detail but they are asking for a  payment method which would require my personal financial details all of this obvs. outside of Ebay. Not very happy about this - I believe it is against Ebay rules and wish to cancel - can I do this and how?

Ignore them, if they don't pay with paypal open an unpaid case against them to get your final value fees back.

I want to know how to cancel though - just in case they pay then open a dodgy INR and leave a Neg - as they seem to have done to the only other buyer they have purchased from on Ebay. After the farious payment requests I have received so far - all does not look feel good.

After 2 days just open an unpaid case, if they don't pay they can't leave feedback once case is opened.

But I want to cancel.....That was the question I was asking - how I do this, as I don't want to process a transaction with this person. They may pay and give me a load of unwanted hassle later - where they can leave a Neg. I guess I'll call Ebay tomorrow - I have already reported this buyer anyway. But thanks for your response.

Sounds like they might even be trying to scam you.

As advised, tell them to pay with paypal or after 48 hours, open an unpaid item case against them.

Close case after 5 days to get your final value fees credit
