Hello, I believe I am going to have a problem with someone I recently sold too. Prior to the sale there were lots of messages which in hindsight was a red flag. On Monday I dispatched 21 items to various buyers, all my items state that parcels will be sent Royal mail 2nd class. Within a couple of hours of dispatch I was getting messages asking for a tracking number. I explained that as per sale details it was sent by the above I sent a screen shot of the receipt with the reference number. Of all the items sent on that day this buyer is the only one supposedly yet to receive the item. I have looked through the buyer feedback and although it shows as 100% there are regular comments for this same sort of issue. I believe that I am being set up to have to refund this person but feel that I maybe getting lied too. I have only started recently selling on a regular basis and I am not sure what should happen in cases like this especially as the buyer appears to do this every so often. Any advice or guidance would be appreciated? Thank you
Hi
On your receipt for the item is there a 16 digit bar code? If yes go to royal Mails track and trace site and see if it says delivered.
Add the 16 digit bar code to Ebay if it shows as delivered. This in theory should protect you, if it shows as delivered, if the buyer opens a not received case.
