A buyer claims a parcel was not delivered to her house although packlink say courier handed it to someone in her household. She immediately claimed a refund via eBay which I did as requested. Packlink would not refund the money back to me unless the buyer signed a DOR letter (Denial of Receipt). As the buyer said she did not have email, I sent a hard copy of the letter to her by first class mail on two occasions, each time enclosing a self address stamped reply envelope. I checked her address with her very carefully to make sure it was correct. Each time she confirmed it was correct but then denied receipt of the letter. I have sent many message to her via eBay but she will not reply. I have also phone her but she has now blocked my number.Due to my patience, it is now 2 months later and eBay say they can' help due to length of time. Has anyone had this sort of experience?
If you provided/uploaded postal tracking to ebay which showed the item as delivered then thats all you had to do to win a claim against you.
Anyone at a stated address can take in and sign for a parcel, its doesnt have to be the person who actually lives there.
