Buyer complaining to eBay without contacting me first

An item was purchased from me in August and the sale went through smoothly. Now I have received an email from eBay notifying me that the buyer did not bid on the item and they are returning my selling fees etc. What is happening?

Sounds like the buyers account was hacked not that they are complaining about you

As long as you have proof of posting to the address suppied with the Paypal payment your money should be safe

Thanks a lot for the information. I have the proof of posting and the tracking number from the courier. The item was sold over a month ago!

You need to keep POP for 13 months, as this is how long paypal allow account holder to claim charge back.
