Broken item

i received an item that was broken, how do I claim costs? Seller aware

You do not need to contact the seller but you must open a case for "not as described" in the resolution centre.  Seller will refund or send a label for you to send the bits back if he wants.  

 

Do not correspond or argue with the seller.  Disregard any suggestions such as "Not my fault - claim from Royal Mail".  If he does not repay or send the label after 3 business days escalate the case to eBay

 

Do not open a "not received" case.  You did receive it but it was damaged
