Broken Purchase

I purchased a scratch board for my horses stable. It arrived broken at the edge. Seller wasn’t helpful and as it was during lockdown was not easy to return. Seller offered me a small refund towards item and told me it was strong and fit for purpose. Within days of my horse starting to use it it had started to break. 2 months later and after I have tried to keep fixing it I have had to remove it from the wall as it has become dangerous to my horse. What can I do as it most certainly was not fit for the purpose I purchased it.

It's too late to do anything via eBay.  You could try a case with Paypal but would have to pay the cost of return.   Log into your Paypal account and click on Contact Us (at bottom of page) > Resolution Centre (near bottom of next page) > Report a Problem.  Escalate after 2 days and within 20 days.
