Is it acceptable to offer bribes to remove negative feedback?
I purchased a "new" item that arrived in a shocking, but usable condition and was offered £5 (for the £25 item, as if it's relevant!) to remove this. To me this would be morally reprehensible, but does it not violate any standards or codes of conduct?
You cannot remove it. The only way it can be done is or seller to send a "Feedback Revision Request".
Even if they did you do not have to agree, and I can guarantee that the "Bribe" would never be paid. I would not even bother to reply, they will soon give up as revisions have to be made wihin 30 days.
Iseethat you have only EVR left two feedback and both were NEGATIVE.
Don't you think that GOOD sellers also deserve POSITIVE Feedback, they have taken the trouble to give you feedback.
