Why can't eBay just tell you not to add brand names in the title description instead of removing the whole listing. It would of taken me less than 1 minute to comply if they had asked. Now we've both lost out as I have deleted the listing they removed.
You can include the brand name in the title description - provided it's actually that brand.
What you can't do is keyword spamming, i.e. using a brand name that's similar to what you're selling to fool buyers who are searchimng for that brand by name.
In other words, terms like "inspired by" or "in the style of" a brand that you're not actually selling is not allowed. When this is reported to eBay by the brand owner, you're not seriously suggesting that they should just leave it to selelrs to remove it when it suits them to?
It was the fact I said that it wasn't Sony, JBL or LG. In the description.
ebay expect sellers to have read the rules before they list items,
they don't have the time or manpower to go around getting sellers to change their listings
if you break the rules, the listings are removed, end of story
If it was reported by the brand owner then they have to remove it.
See the vero programme at the bottom of the page
Some brand owners do not like their items on ebay.
