Bought garden lights that were smashed

Selling trying to offer me discount - rock garden solar lights arrived in beat up boxes and all were badly smashed. I got in touch and through are only offering me a discount!!! I've had this issue when buying from sites abroad & therefore chose a site stating UK - however it is evident from the emails that this is not a UK company. Advise welcome - honestly going to stop buying off eBay

Looks like you bought from a Chinese Seller who Ships from a London Based Fulfilment Centre. Their Electrical items do not meet UK Safety Standards. 

Open an Item Not As Described Case with Ebay in the Resolution Centre.  The Seller will have 3 Business days to Accept the Return and issue a Returns Label through the Case to the London Address you purchased from.

Ignore anything he says to put you off course. Escalate the Case after 4 days for EBay to Step in. They will Force the Refund.
